Doro Camp Lapland is the first campground you’ll encounter upon entering South Lapland. The grounds are located adjacently to the E-45 and the ‘vildmarksvägen’ in the town of Dorotea. Doro Camp Lapland is a pleasant, family-oriented campground with spacious plots. The campground has something for everyone: you can comfortably camp using your own caravan, campervan or tent, rent a typical Swedish stuga, or spend the night in one of our apartments. Showers, toilets, a kitchen and laundry machines are all located on the grounds.
Furthermore, there is a playground for children. You can also grab a bite to eat or a drink in our restaurant/pub. For a tour of Lapland’s natural beauty, you could hop on the Inlandsbanan train and ride it into the countryside – we have our own railway station, so getting on could not be simpler! South Lapland boasts great natural beauty and provides many opportunities for outdoor activities in every season of the year! You can get from the campgrounds to the heart of the Swedish Lapland forests in no time at all.
The Swedish Transport Administration has started the reconstruction of road E45 through Dorotea to create an attractive urban area with increased traffic safety and accessibility and a safe environment for unprotected road users. Doro Camp will be accessible for our guest during the entire reconstruction. A road diversion may occur, but will not affect accessibility. You can find more information on the Swedish Transport Administration’s website (in swedish).
Thank you very much for your understanding, we look forward to welcoming you!
